How to choose
🏙️ One jacket for a Seoul commute
If you are moving between the subway and heated buildings, TEI 4 and up is actually too warm. A length that covers the hips is the most versatile.
First choice — Chilliwack Bomber (short cut, easy in a car)
Second — Langford Parka (thigh length, fine over a suit)
Layering — one knit underneath is enough; a thick hoodie collapses the silhouette.
🏔️ One jacket for cold snaps and the outdoors
If you have to stand around below -15°C, length and a hood ruff (fur trim) change how cold it feels more than anything else.
First choice — Expedition Parka (TEI 5, the original, built for Antarctic station crew)
Second — Kensington Parka (women's long cut, covers to above the knee)
Careful — if you are mostly indoors it makes you sweat, which ends up feeling colder.
📏 Sizing and care
Sizing — true to size on the whole. It is not an Asian fit, though, so the shoulders run generous — slimmer builds look cleaner one size down.
Washing — no dry cleaning. Hand-wash alone in lukewarm water or use a down cycle, then dry it completely.
Storage — never store it compressed. Left crushed, the down dies and the warmth does not come back.
Authenticity — the hologram label inside the left-arm badge carries a unique serial you can look up on the official site.
